Children's author Jan Brett runs a really fun contest every year for a free library or school visit and lots of free books, and is at it again for 2017! The school or library with the most submitted entry forms by April 3, 2017 will win a free visit from Jan Brett herself in January 2018, #2-10th place will win a set of 10 Jan Brett books, and #11-100 will each win a free Jan Brett autographed poster. Because it is based on number of votes, we obviously stand a much better chance of getting Jan Brett to Sioux City if we all submit the public library rather than dividing our votes amongst the various schools!
